What is Authorised Exporter Status

For businesses that regularly export to countries with preferential agreements with the European Union, obtaining the Authorized Exporter status represents a key competitive advantage: it streamlines customs management, ensures faster shipment processing, and increases overall efficiency in international operations.

Customs authorisation

Authorized exporter status is a customs authorization issued by the Customs Agency to companies that export goods with preferential origin. It allows the EUR.1 certificate to be replaced with a declaration of origin on the invoice, without value limits, for all destinations covered by EU trade agreements.

Applicable legislation

This simplification is provided for in article 120 of implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2447.
