Registration in the REX System
Thanks to this procedure, it is no longer necessary to request certificates of origin such as EUR.1 each time.
This simplified system was introduced to streamline customs operations with countries benefiting from preferential trade arrangements, including those under the Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP).
Registration with the REX system is mandatory in order to benefit from the tariff concessions provided for in the free trade agreements between the EU and numerous third countries.
